Rent-to-own is a way of getting on the property ladder over a period of a few years by renting a property then buying it after a period of time.
In the current economic climate it is becoming more difficult to save a deposit towards your first home. A the rent to own scheme we can help. It works as follows :

we have property which you would like to buy are not able to do so right now

we agree a price you will buy the property from us for at a date in the future, say three years away

for the three years you would rent the property from us and at the same time we would help you build up a deposit

at the appropriate time you would buy the property at the agreed price and have a deposit to enable you to obtain a mortgage.
Advantage of this process are that

you can move into the property without the need for a mortgage

this is not a 'shared equity scheme' so any increase in value over the agree purchase price is yours and not shared with us or anyone else

if you make any improvements to the property which increase the value of the property this will also be extra equity for you as it will not will not increase the agreed purchase price

you are under no obligation to purchase the property if your circumstances change although you would lose the money paid towards the deposit.
